More than 20 years ago, Susan purchased a horse farm in southeastern Wisconsin and began raising Appaloosa horses. Spot was the first Appaloosa on the farm, and it wasn't long before the breeding program began producing foals that would go on to be sold around the world.
Not long after, Bill brought an old VCR down to the barn, and the original BarnCam was born. A few years later, they found an exceptional yearling stallion named Zippy, whose success helped put the farm on the map. Zippy excelled both in the show ring and in the breeding barn, and Saddlebrook soon became the home of Zip Me Impressive, Supreme Champion and World's Best Appaloosa Stallion.
